There are so many wildly talented designers and animators out there that inspire me daily. So one day I thought I would try my hand at After Effects to see if I could put that inspiration to work.
I started off with what I thought would be pretty simple, a 3D Rubik's cube expanding and contracting in space. It definitely wasn't simple for an absolute beginner, but after a few hours I was hooked.
For subsequent animations, I kept improving while adding sound effects and composing the music myself. I like the fact that, especially with animation, I can combine many different skills to create something unique and interesting.
